Our Cats...

Jynx
One morning in 2001, when our receptionist opend the front door she found a box on the front step. Inside was a skinny, scrawny little cat who was four paw declawed and apparently too sick to try to get out of the box. That cat was Jynx, now a popular fixture at Fox River Animal Hospital! Since the day he arrived we have been trying to get him to gain weight. Unfortunately for us, his favorite food is "w/d" which is designed for weight loss! He likes to get in the food closet and chew a hole in the corner of a 20# bag whenever he gets a chance!
Next time you visit us, say hi to Jynx. He is usually at the front counter waiting for attention! |

Francis
In September 2002 Dr. Shepherd and his wife Amy were shopping at Fox River Mall with their new baby. Dr. Shepherd went to pull up the car since it was raining very hard. When he pulled up to the front of the mall, Amy got in the car and noticed that his shirt was off and it was crumpled up in his lap. Immediately she said, "Who's in the shirt?" The answer was baby Francis! He had found her under a car in the parking lot crying and soaking wet.
Now Francis lives at Fox River Animal Hospital where she loves to hang out on the display shelf in the hallway (we all think it looks very uncomfortable!) She also spends a lot of time hanging out with her brother Jynx in their bedroom (formerly known as the grooming room) on top of the cages so she can look out the window.
