Treatment Room

This is the area where dental cleanings, medical procedures and laboratory tests are performed, and where pets are prepped for and recover from surgery.

Surgery 

In our surgery room, Dr. Shepherd performs many soft tissue surgeries with sterile instruments, gown and gloves.  All surgical patients are monitored by blood pressure, and pulse oximetry machines as well as by a Certified Veterinary Technician.  All our surgical patients receive pre-anesthetic blood testing so that we can tailor an anesthetic plan to their individual needs as well as an IV catheter allowing us to regulate blood pressure and immediate access to a vein in the event of an emergency.
